At Desert Heights Charter Schools, we understand how important it is to provide meaningful opportunities for parent and community involvement. Volunteering at your child’s school, whether in the classroom or on a field trip, is a great way to stay connected to your child's education.
We continue to value our volunteers and appreciate their time and energy to assist in the classroom and at school. As part of Desert Heights Charter Schools uses the Raptor Volunteer Management System to screen all school volunteers through the completion of this application.
All volunteers must create an account and complete the following through the system to be eligible to volunteer.

The only thing that is changing is the process in which how a volunteer signs up and completes the process.
- Volunteer Application is completed through Raptor.
- Acknowledgement of the Volunteer Handbook and training materials. All available throguh Raptor.
- Complete FirstAid & CPR Training through National CPR Foundation.
- Backgound Check completed through Raptor.
This is done out of the safety of our students, faculty and community, which is the upmost importance.
The application results should be available within 10 business days. This timeline could be affected by holidays and school breaks. We ask that families please plan accordingly when wanting to sign up for a volunteer opportunities!
Applications through Raptor are valid for two years.
