The following career opportunities are currently available at Desert Heights.
- Part Time/Full Time Bus Drivers: Must have school bus endorsement. Proof of valid bus certification and AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Backup/On-call Bus Driver: Must be flexible and have school bus endorsement. Proof of valid bus certification number required.
- Athletic Coaches: Looking for knowledgeable coaches eager to help build our competitive athletics program. Team practices for all levels (Junior High, Junior Varsity and Varsity) occur five (5) days/week with approximately 14-16 games scheduled each season. Requirements include a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance card and a complete application (provided after the initial interview).

Fingerprint Clearance Card
All potential employees for Desert Heights must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card to be eligible for hire. Fingerprint Clearance process can take up to 6 weeks.
The Arizona Revised Statutes (Statutes) require members of many professions to have an active fingerprint clearance card prior to or as a condition of licensure, certification, or employment. The Statutes currently list 52 reasons why a person may need a fingerprint clearance card. The ACCT calls these sponsors. Your licensing, certifying, or authorizing agency, board, or employer (sponsor) can better advise if you need a fingerprint clearance card, and which Statute provides the reason for the requirement. You may add or delete sponsors at any time during the six (6) years your card is valid by notifying the ACCT at (602) 223-2279.
