The DH School Board plays an important watchdog role in keeping the school on track, and setting policies that affect your child and your school. The school board sets the vision and goals for the school district, and holds the district accountable for results.
If you are interested in being a board member for Desert Heights Charter Schools, please contact Desert Heights Board President and or Desert Heights Chairman. Please be prepared to provide a resume to the board. As a team, the board will review your request, meet with you and vote at an open meeting regarding your membership on the board.
Members of the Desert Heights board will need to be available for board meetings which are as frequent as once a month. Meetings are generally held at our Charter School campus, starting at 5pm.
Board members will be asked to attend various events such as graduations, etc.
