Advisory | High School Advisor

As a member of the advisory team my role is to support students during some of the most important and transitional years of high school. I work closely with freshman and sophomores to help them build strong academic habits, explore their interests, and begin planning for their future. My goal is to ensure every student feels supported, informed, and confident as they navigate high school.

As the freshman and sophomore advisor, I help students with course planning, GPA awareness, and goal setting, while also helping them understand graduation requirements and how their choices today impact future opportunities. A key part of my role is guiding students through career exploration, including identifying their interests, strengths, and values, and connecting those to potential career paths and post-secondary options.

Throughout the year, I collaborate with teachers, families, and guest speakers to bring real-world experiences into the classroom. This includes career presentations, college and career readiness activities, and opportunities for students to learn directly from professionals about different pathways. Students will also take part in workshops about the importance of GPA, presentation skills, reality check, and study skills.

I am committed to helping every student discover their potential and take meaningful steps toward their future.
