On Wednesday, October 6th from 5:30-7pm will be hosting our first “What’s Poppin” Steam Night. This will be a quarterly event that will highlight different grade levels and what they are doing in the classroom. This night will focus on Senior Projects. Seniors will be detailing their projects for the year and how you can support them. We will also be offering popcorn to all attendees.
We will also be hosting workshops to help parents and students during these nights. Each workshop will be 45 minutes and we will have 2 sessions.
Navigating FAFSA – A college representative will be coming to help parents and students navigate the financial aid process.
Navigating Your Students Apps – This session will help you navigate your students’ apps that they use daily on their IPADs. We will host this session on every steam night
Social Emotional Tools – We will be highlighting our new emotions tracker and how we are using it throughout the year.
Preparing for you Journey – This session will be highlighting the opportunities that students will have for Advance Placement and Dual Enrollment classes in the future.
