Text HOME to 741741 to connect with Crisis Text Line.  Every texter is connected with a Crisis Counselor, a real-life human being trained to bring texters from a hot moment to a cool calm through active listening and collaborative problem solving. All of Crisis Text Line's Crisis Counselors are volunteers, donating their time to helping people in crisis.

Lifeline Chat is a service of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, connecting individuals with counselors for emotional support and other services via web chat. All chat centers in the Lifeline network are accredited by CONTACT USA. Lifeline Chat is available 24/7 across the U.S.

In response to COVID-19 and statewide school closures, Teen Lifeline is now expanding our crisis texting service hours to Arizona youth through our free, confidential and anonymous hotline. We know that students being away from friends and trusted adults will mean that they need us now more than ever. Please encourage youth to call or text if they are struggling and need someone to talk to. Teen Lifeline is also available to parents and other adults who are in need of resources for their children. The following are our new hotline hours.

• Calling remains available 24/7
• Texting available extended hours 12pm-9pm on weekdays and 3pm-9pm on weekends.
• Peer counselors are still available from 3pm to 9pm every day.
